Dear Members or Professional Accountancy Organizations:
Please join us for the IFAC SMP Forum 2012 on Monday, March 19, 2012, in Singapore, co-hosted by IFAC and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS).
IFAC welcomes all member bodies to participate in this important international forum, especially those in Southeast Asia. Member bodies are encouraged to send delegates who are either staff involved with SMP/SME matters and/or volunteers drawn from SMPs and SMEs.
You will find enclosed the Forum brochure, which includes a Registration Form and information. Hotel information will be provided in the coming weeks. Please complete the Registration Form (one for each delegate) electronically and return it to SMPForum@ifac.org by February 12, 2012. You may enter your details directly into the PDF, save, and then email. Delegates from Singapore should register and book accommodation through ICPAS (details in attached brochure).
Due to space limitations, your organization is asked to send no more than ten representatives to participate in the forum. Registration is free.
You are strongly advised to confirm visa requirements with your travel agent or other appropriate source as soon as possible. If you require a visa invitation letter, please contact SMPForum@ifac.org.
ICPAS, the Forum co-host, will be hosting their own event titled "Small and Medium-Sized Businesses: How to Grow Amidst Market Uncertainties" on March 20, 2012 at the same venue. For more information, please refer to http://www.icpasevents.org.sg/icpas-sme-smp-initiatives/smb-how-to-grow/.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact IFAC at SMPForum@ifac.org. You can find out more about the IFAC SMP Committee at www.ifac.org/smp. To see presentations and other information from last year’s event, see www.ifac.org/2011SMPForum.
